Moving forward it is just a pure fact that most of these smaller companies are getting destroyed by the monster companies out there. One of the biggest fights today going on besides property rights is food. Worldwide citizens are being attacked by genetically modified foods and especially in the case of United States, where Whole Foods is headquartered and located this GMO monster is in full attack mode. So much so that we believe that over the next decade unless we all die from toxic foods from these giants that each and everyone of us will be consuming genetically modified foods without a choice in the matter.
What happen to choices in America
The little guys have been putting up a good fight, a fight with merit and significance but like most other things today, the citizenry have little power over the giant non capitalism companies. The companies that shit on the word capitalism and shit on everything else for that matter. To this day it is beyond belief that the American people are forced to be guinea pigs for GMO foods and that these companies are actually getting away with not having to label this deadly combination of chemicals and fake foods.
You might ask why I mention this in a Whole Foods article and the reason is simple, it is that Whole Foods has local articles out looking for local growers which still exist for the small part. However this is quickly changing as Monsanto somehow has had the ability to spread its seeds all over a large percentage of farms in America. Farms that have no idea but yet get dragged into court for violating the terms of the chemical seed maker and claiming patent infringement, just read this article Monsanto drags over 400 U.S. farmers to court over GM seed patents: When will Big Ag’s corrupt reign end? which mentions how quickly we are losing our local growers and farms. This drug company/chemical company Monsanto will have dragged every single farm into court over the next decade to get there way if need be is what the trend is looking like.
Whole foods advertising for local growers
Our point is simple, if Whole Foods is basing there strength and growth on local farmers, what will be there plans moving forward when there are no more local farmers? When all the seeds become chemical waste seeds? While we do not have the basic human right to know if our foods are currently GMO or not, it takes work trying to figure out which foods are safe to eat anymore. This ability to not eat GMO foods and keep a nutritional diet is quickly getting ripped out from our hands.
When Whole Foods puts out ads like that, seeking local growers, do they put future into perspective? Do they realize that this is a temporary fix to a massive problem. That all of our local farms are being polluted by these giant tentacles taking over the entire agriculture industry at a rapid pace, worldwide.
With the price of seeds skyrocketing due to these measures, we feel that the Whole Foods brand might be in jeopardy fast forwarding a few years.
