Jonesing for that line of blow whether craving the act of getting out a mirror and a razor blade to begin cutting up the rocks and feeling the sensation of the coke going through your nostrils into your lungs or to have that feeling of quick euphoria that quickly comes after the line gets into the system. The feeling of happiness or the feeling of needing to chat with the people around you, the added plus of the cigarette smoke hitting the lungs while high in the euphoric stage is tough to beat for many people. In fact some people just never break the habit and go on getting that fix throughout life even as the heart grows weaker, the veins become more fragile leaving the possibility of stroke a high risk at any sign of unusual blood pressure.
No doubt users are dying at any age from a large array of drug overdoses, many of which are prescription based pain killers but today we really wanted to explore the line of coke that actually ends it all whether old or young. From the moment the coke goes through the bloodstream to the moment of dying, the feeling before death, does it stay euphoric or does the knowledge of death instantly straighten the user out and they fight until the last breath.
Where I grew up many of the youth from the neighborhood had died from cocaine use, some smoked it, some shot it and some sniffed it, it didn’t matter because it killed each one of them and those that did not die, how badly are they damaged internally today?
The feeling right before death from coke
Was it the first line of the night or was it the end of a bag shared among friends? Were they in the euphoric coke high or were they in the paranoid state after snorting too much. The state that makes a person crawl up into a ball and no longer wanting to talk and share, at this point the state of euphoria has gone away and the coke high becomes a twisted huge pupil, heart palpitations and cold sweat feeling. Did they ever imagine that that particular bag of coke could be the last time on earth before heaven or hell? Did an angel come and walk them through the death process or did they die without even knowing they would die? The human body is amazing and does a great job of blocking massive unbearable pain when needed, it sometimes allows for last words or even a last day to say goodbye in cases of stroke or trauma. The coke death typically takes them right there, but how long does the death take, do they vary or are they similar times on all coke over doses?
What did the high feel like just before the heart raced into a death spiral? Did they feel it coming or did it just creep up and kill them right away before they knew what hit them? According to cocaine intoxication reports
Most deaths due to cocaine are accidental. Use of cocaine causes tachyarrhythmias and a marked elevation of blood pressure, which can be life-threatening. This can lead to death from respiratory failure, stroke, cerebral hemorrhage, or heart-failure. Cocaine is also highly pyrogenic, because the stimulation and increased muscular activity cause greater heat production. Heat loss is inhibited by the intense vasoconstriction. Cocaine-induced hyperthermia may cause muscle cell destruction and myoglobinuria resulting in renal failure. Emergency treatment often consists of administering a benzodiazepine sedation agent, such as diazepam (Valium) to decrease the elevated heart rate and blood pressure. Physical cooling (ice, cold blankets, etc…) and paracetamol (acetaminophen) may be used to treat hyperthermia, while specific treatments are then developed for any further complications. There is no officially approved specific antidote for cocaine overdose, and although some drugs such as dexmedetomidine and rimcazole have been found to be useful for treating cocaine overdose in animal studies, no formal human trials have been carried out. In addition, a history of high blood pressure or cardiac problems puts the patient at high risk of cardiac arrest or stroke, and requires immediate medical treatment. According to the Centers for Disease control, approximately 5000 deaths occur annually in the US due to cocaine overdose.
Since I know several people that were close to someone that had a massive heart attack that killed them, they pretty much say the same or similar things, one for example said that he was sweating profusely and knew it was time and refused an ambulance. The other said that it forced him to sit up and say he felt terribly sick and moments later keeled over with no more heart rhythm. How many lines can the heart handle before the attack comes in. Does the overdose coronary feel painful like a heart attack? Does the heart start racing and suddenly stop or does it just suddenly stop and they feel the blood stop pumping and just lose the wake like flow.
Is it like catching a bullet in the head and it’s all over right away, what seems like instantly, you get hit by a car and you get knocked out so badly that you probably don’t even feel the exit phase. Then to think about those people that take 30 second nose dives in a full aircraft plummeting straight into the ground , wow a full 30 seconds of knowing it is all over. It is so chaotic that the 30 seconds probably goes by allot faster than one thinks and before you know it everyone just gets blown to bits and aside form the 30 second straight down death spiral, they probably never feel it. Taking a bullet to the stomach and slowly bleeding out while conscious is probably much worse, but they say that even then, the brain blocks away the pain and allows you to die in somewhat peace.
What about the last line of coke. They sniff the line, immediately get a normal rush or high and naturally the heart begins racing faster like any speed type drug would do, perhaps the user panics as the heart palpitations increase before the attack which takes away the high feeling.
